Trim Levels (Exterior)
The entry-level Pacifica is the Touring. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED high-beam headlights, heated side exterior mirrors, a power liftgate, and power-sliding side doors. The Touring L adds 18-inch wheels, and the Limited gives the power-adjustable side exterior mirrors memory settings. Choose the Pinnacle for hands-free power side doors, a hands-free liftgate, dark chrome exterior trim, an auto-dimming mirror on the driver's side, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Engine (Power)
Power for all Pacifica models comes from a 3.6-liter V-6 gas engine that develops 287 horsepower. It works with a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with front-wheel drive. The Pacifica is one of the few minivans that also offers all-wheel drive as an option, and you can get it with any trim except the Touring. The Pacifica is also available as a hybrid. This setup adds two electric motors to a gas V-6 engine, and these combine to generate 260 horsepower.
Peformance
The V-6 provides the minivan with plenty of power for everyday driving. It will zip from zero to 60 mph in just 7.3 seconds, and it feels peppy when driving around town. The hybrid has less horsepower than the gas version, and but it accelerates almost as quickly. The gas-powered Pacifica can tow up to 3,600 pounds when equipped with the hitch, and Chrysler doesn't recommend towing with the hybrid.
Interior
When equipped with the captain's chairs, the Pacifica has room for seven people, but adding the bench seat bumps this up to eight. The Touring comes with cloth upholstery, triple-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. Choose the Touring L for synthetic leather or the Limited for genuine leather. The Touring has a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth that will connect two smartphones at the same time, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The Pinnacle has a 115-volt power outlet and either a 19 or 20-speaker Harman Karmon stereo system. The Pinnacle models also come with the Uconnect Theater rear-seat infotainment system.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has several advanced driver aids. The standard list includes adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot warning system, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning with mitigation. Automatic emergency braking comes standard, along with lane-departure mitigation and rear parking sensors with an automatic braking system that will activate if you get too close to an object. The Pinnacle adds a 360-degree surround-view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and an automated parking system that can steer the minivan into a parking spot with little to no help from the driver.
